It’s Hard to Believe…but Cloudpager is Even Faster Now
At Numecent, we are always striving for improvements and that can be noticed in the many new features we have released in recent years like AI Packaging, Intune Storefronts, App Attach Storefronts, Incremental Rollouts, and improvements in application compatibility delivered with changes to Cloudpaging Studio, such as support for Symbolic Links, Junction Points, and more.
Just as important as new features are continuous improvements in the efficiency of our solutions. Last year, we made sweeping changes to Cloudpaging Player that saw the package size cut to a quarter of its previous size and lead to faster install while reducing the need for reboots when performing future client upgrades.
Now, we are delighted to announce further efficiency gains, this time for Cloudpager customers through improvements to our Cloudpager client.
Smart Auto Deploy Accelerates Response Times up to 88%
Cloudpager client version 1.5.1 and later features smart detection capabilities which makes it process auto deploy events in a more efficient manner than in previous releases, effectively reducing network utilization and improving overall response time. In fact, response times have improved by 88% in some scenarios. The efficiency gains have zero impact on the speed and performance for the deployments of new applications and application updates, so this release delivers efficiency gains with no loss in speed.
What is Your IT Team Trying to Accelerate?
Our mission to Containerize Everythingâ„¢ is one that helps you accelerate application packaging, publishing, deployment, and cost efficiency.
Accelerating Application Packaging
Simplifying the mobilization and management of your Windows applications begins with packaging. The release of AI Packaging within Cloudpager was designed to alleviate obstacles to packaging. You can leverage the Cloudpager repository of WinGet applications for point-and-click packaging or simply drag-and-drop .msi files to the Applications tab and let Cloudpaging AI handle the packaging.

Achieving Faster Application Deployments
Cloudpaging containers only require 5% to 10% of an application for first launch, while the rest of the application is streamed directly to user desktops as needed. Better yet, they don’t require a traditional install process or login/logout from users to get started. This is how Cloudpaging containers accelerate application launches up to 20x compared to traditional installations.
Combined with the power of Cloudpager’s global cloud backbone and content delivery network (CDN), you can rapidly deploy and update applications around the world in a matter of seconds.
