Numecent Achieves Microsoft Azure IP Co-Sell Status

Modernization is More Accessible Than Ever with IP Co-Sell

We are thrilled to announce Numecent is officially a member of the Microsoft Azure IP Co-Sell program. This milestone marks a significant expansion of our long-standing collaboration with Microsoft and represents a major win for our customers and partners pursuing our mission to Containerize Everything™, making it easier than ever to modernize Windows application management across physical and virtual Windows endpoints.

By achieving IP Co-Sell status, Numecent’s flagship platform, Cloudpager, is now formally recognized as a high-performance, Microsoft-vetted solution that integrates seamlessly with the Azure ecosystem.

What is Microsoft’s Azure IP Co-Sell Program?

For the uninitiated, the Microsoft IP Co-Sell program is an elite tier of partnership designed for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) that build their solutions on Azure. It isn’t just a badge on a website; it’s a deep, collaborative sales motion.

When a solution is “IP Co-Sell Ready,” it means Microsoft’s global sales force is now incentivized and equipped to sell Numecent alongside their own Azure services. This alignment ensures that when you talk to your Microsoft account team about your strategies for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, Intune, Windows 11, or Windows on Arm Numecent is right there in the conversation as a preferred way to handle your most complex application packaging and delivery needs.

“Achieving this status significantly strengthens Numecent's strategic alliance with Microsoft and enables our partners to participate in a more connected go-to-market motion; accelerating adoption and shared growth,” said Chantelle Smith, Alliance and Channel Manager at Numecent

Why This is a Big Deal for Our Customers and Prospects

We didn’t just do this for the “Microsoft Preferred” badge (though it does look quite sharp on our Marketplace listing). This status provides tangible, bottom-line benefits for our existing customers and those currently evaluating our technology. It doesn’t stop there. Numecent Channel partners, via MPPO, reap the same benefits:

1. Leverage Your MACC (Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment)

This is the highlight of the program for our customers. If your organization has an existing Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC), your purchase of Cloudpager through the Microsoft Marketplace now counts directly toward fulfilling that spend. Essentially, you can use your pre-committed Azure budget to fund your Numecent deployment, making budgeting and procurement faster and simpler.

This rings true for Numecent partners, as well. With Numecent now a part of Azure IP Co-Sell, their customers can leverage their MACC to pay for partner-led engagements via Microsoft Marketplace.

2. Simplified Procurement and Consolidated Billing

No one wants more paperwork. With a transactable offering on Microsoft Marketplace, you can purchase Cloudpager using your existing Microsoft agreement. This means one less vendor to vet, one less contract to negotiate, and one single, consolidated bill from Microsoft.

3. Peace of Mind via Microsoft Validation

Achieving IP Co-Sell status requires a rigorous technical review by Microsoft engineers. Our architecture has been heavily vetted to validate it meets Microsoft’s highest standards for security, performance, and reliability on Azure.

4. Expert Joint Support

Whether you are looking to maximize application compatibility and deployment speeds across Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, and your physical endpoints, enhancing the speed and precision of Microsoft Intune, or adopting the latest Windows on Arm device types, you now have the combined strength of Numecent’s team of inventors (backed by 67 patents and counting) and Microsoft’s field teams working in lockstep to ensure your project’s success.

Azure IP Co-sell Makes the Future of Cloud-Native Application Container Management More Accessible Than Ever

As we look toward the rest of 2026, our mission remains the same: to containerize everything, ensuring any application can run on all Windows endpoints. Whether you’re dealing with “impossible” legacy apps or looking to automate your Windows application lifecycle across all physical and virtual desktops, our IP Co-Sell status makes it easier than ever to bring those solutions to life on Azure.

"Expanding our collaboration with Microsoft through the Azure IP Co-Sell program is a strategic catalyst for the next chapter in our journey. It allows us to reach more enterprises while alleviating business and technical hurdles that often slow down modernization initiatives." - Duncan Byargeon, Senior Director of Marketing and Revenue Operations at Numecent
