Osman Kent: Executive Chairman & Co-founder
Osman is a serial technology entrepreneur best known as the co-founder & CEO of 3Dlabs – at one time an almost $1Bn company on Nasdaq. 3Dlabs was responsible for making workstation class 3D graphics happen on the PC. He has a First Class degree in Computer Science and Electronics from University of Birmingham (UK), is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and is the inventor of numerous patents in computing and graphics. In his spare time, Osman incubates musicians through his record label Songphonic – one of the reasons why Business Insider cited him among the top 15 technologists with a different life style.
Tom Lagatta: President and CEO
Tom Lagatta became the President and CEO of Numecent in January 2015 and was previously the Executive VP of Worldwide Sales at Broadcom, where he was responsible for $8B of annual sales as well as product marketing and business development functions. Between 2002 and 2006, he was the SVP and GM of Enterprise Computing Group of Broadcom, where he was responsible with managing all aspects of a multi- hundred million$ business unit. Prior to that, Tom was the EVP and GM of AnadigicsTM and also held senior management and technical positions at SymbiosTM. He has an MSc in EE from University of Southern California and a BSc in EE from Ohio State University.
Arthur S. Hitomi: CTO & Co-founder
Dr. Art Hitomi is Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Numecent. Dr. Hitomi is a recognized figure within the areas of on-demand application delivery including application and data streaming, application virtualization, peer to peer systems, distributed workflow systems, software development methodologies, and has contributed to the development of Internet protocol standards. He is the inventor of numerous patents held by Numecent.
Dr. Hitomi held both academic and industry positions as a software researcher and developer, including principal developer for a distributed learning system he implemented for Sun Microsystems. Dr. Hitomi is a graduate of University of California, Irvine with a BS with honors, an MS degree, and a PhD in Information & Computer Science.
Ed Corrente: CFO
Ed Corrente is Chief Financial Officer for Numecent. He has served in this position since February 2010 and is responsible for all aspects of the finance function including financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, tax, treasury, administrative, risk management and HR functions.
Ed brings over 25 years of financial experience as CFO of several public and private software and other companies and as a certified public accountant with Ernst & Young. He has been involved in mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions aggregating over $2 billion and has held Board positions in several companies. Ed earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, Canada and a Certified Public Accountant license in the State of California. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of CPA’s.
Nick Pandher: VP Marketing
Nick Pandher joined in 2015. Over 20 years of experience in workstation, GPU and datacenter technologies at system and technology market leaders. Nick has run customer facing sales and technology teams at 3dfx, NVIDIA and Teradici worldwide and run business development for new markets. While at Teradici, Nick co-worked with partners on PCoIP remote protocol roll outs to VDI customers and ran relationships with zero client partners. From there he had a brief role at AMD to introduce virtualized GPU technology to AMD’s product offerings to VDI ecosystem partners.
Steve Sickler: VP Americas
Steve Sickler has led software sales organizations from early stage start-ups such as Tivoli Systems to high growth divisions within mature companies such as OpenText, BEA, PeopleSoft/Oracle and IBM. Prior to joining Numecent, Steve ran the $150M HANA/Big Data Analytics and Mobile business for SAP’s west region, achieving triple-digit growth. Steve founded one of the original Managed Service Providers (MSPs) growing that into a $35M business before being acquired. His passion is to bring disruptive technology solutions to customers and to help them become wildly successful.
Mike Goh: VP Asia
Mike Goh joined Numecent in 2015 as the VP Asia. Before coming to Numecent, he was the EVP for Asia sales at Micron. Prior to Micron, Mike Goh had worked at Broadcom, AMD and Texas Instruments. He held numerous positions in Asia ; successfully starting and growing new sales/marketing business groups and offices in the Asia region including worldwide channels sales at Broadcom. Mike Goh has a Bachelor degree in EE engineering from National University of Singapore.
Philip Jarvis: VP EMEA
Philip Jarvis joined Numecent in late 2015. He started his commercial career at Xerox in the UK, culminating in a Moscow based development role covering Central and Eastern Europe the Middle East and Africa in the mid 90’s. From there he has gone on to be involved in a number of early stage technology companies, including California based SiteLite, where he led the EMEA division up to the company’s trade sale.
